Nina Oleksynova

Front Desk Administrator

In 2003, Nina moved to Barrie from Bratislava, Slovakia, bringing with her a strong work ethic and a passion for learning. Since immigrating, she has embraced her new life in Canada and successfully graduated from the University of Guelph in 2020 with an Honors Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. Nina has been an invaluable member of the Simcoe Family Dentistry team since 2019, where she has made a meaningful impact on our patients.

Throughout her time at university, Nina was an avid learner who embraced every opportunity for growth. She served as an executive member of the Best Buddies program, a cause close to her heart that focused on building meaningful friendships for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additionally, Nina worked as a teaching assistant in the Human Anatomy Program, where she shared her knowledge and passion for the subject with fellow students. These experiences shaped her strong desire to continue learning and growing in the field of dentistry.

As a treatment coordinator, Nina combines her love for science and her caring nature to help bring new and improved smiles to patients. She thrives on learning from experienced professionals, staying up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry, and ensuring that each patient receives the best care possible.

When she steps away from the desk, Nina enjoys expressing her creativity through painting and pottery. Cooking is another of her passions, as she loves experimenting with new recipes and flavors. She also cherishes spending quality time with her dog, friends, and family, always seeking new adventures and making lasting memories. With a desire to explore the world, Nina hopes to travel and experience the diverse cuisines and cultures across the globe, further fueling her love for discovering new things.
