A Message from Dr. Mikhail Pliousnine:
Dear Valued Patients:
My name is Dr. Mikhail Pliousnine, and I am the proud new owner of Simcoe Family Dentistry, formerly Lifestyle Dentistry. I’m very pleased to become your new primary dentist and I look forward to meeting you in person. The excellence of care that you received from Dr Chan and Dr Wong will continue with me. I plan on getting to know each patient and working with you to achieve excellent oral health.
A little bit about me. I received my first dental degree from Perm State Medical Academy in Russia, in 2006. After receiving my degree, I completed a 2-year internship as a dental surgeon in the Pediatric Oral Maxillofacial Department, exclusively treating children with disabilities. In 2008, I moved to Canada and began the process of earning my North American Dental degree. After many continuing education courses and two years of additional dental school at the University of California, I successfully completed the National Dental Board Exam and received my license to practice dentistry in Ontario in 2015. Continuing education remains very important to me as through furthering my education I am able to provide you with outstanding patient care.
Since 2015, I have been practicing in and around the GTA as an associate dentist, while looking for my permanent dental home close to my residence in Innisfil. Being active in the community I live in is of great importance to me and I am so pleased to have found Simcoe Family Dentistry in Barrie. Dentistry for the entire family is my focus, especially now that my wife and I will be welcoming our first child at the end of October. I look forward to meeting you and your family!
