2020 Barrie Business Awards – Chamber of Commerce
Dr Mikhail has had the honour to be nominated for the Mayor’s Award of Excellence for Best Employer in Barrie at the Barrie Business Awards and has made it to the finalist stage!
2020 was a very hard year for most business owners. With the added challenges of Covid-19-related provincial closures, developing new protocols and procedures, sourcing new PPE and implementing other safety measures, Dr Mikhail overcame the obstacles and has been recognized for his contributions to an outstanding workplace culture. Since he has owned Simcoe Family Dentistry, Dr Mikhail has provided the team with incentives such as bonuses, a health spending account, continuing education and amazing team-building opportunities. Over the past year, instead of becoming discouraged by the pandemic situation, Dr Mikhail doubled his efforts in making his team feel valuable, recognized, and most of all, safe.
Simcoe Family Dentistry is in amazing company with the two other finalists for this prestigious award, Drive Wise Safety and Barriston Law. Our team wishes to send our heartfelt congratulations to these two companies who share many of the same values as Dr Mikhail. The nomination alone is such a great privilege! We can’t wait to get dressed up for the virtual awards ceremony on March 25th to see all of the finalists being recognized in each of the amazing categories.
