We are kicking off a fun little game called “2 Truths and a Lie” at Simcoe Family Dentistry! The game will be played over the course of 6 weeks so that our entire team gets a chance to participate. How do you play you ask??? It is easy! Every Friday, or team members will take turns by revealing 3 pieces of information about themselves.
We were recently given a wonderful opportunity to help instruct four Grade 1 classes at Alcona Glen Elementary School in oral hygiene. It was a fun-filled morning with an entertaining video, colouring activity and hands-on instruction. We learned about what causes cavities (bacteria in plaque) and what we can do to prevent cavities!

Thank you so much to all our patients and to everyone new that we met last Saturday at our community barbeque! The weather could not have been better, and the burgers and hotdogs were grilled to perfection! Between the bouncy castle and the face painting, it was hard to tell which the kids liked more. We even had two of our patients realize they live very close and enjoy many of the same activities.
