Thank you so very much to our patients who participated in our first annual Christmas Food Drive! We are excited to report that we were able to donate over 100 pounds of non-perishable items to the Barrie Food Bank!
Over the course of six weeks leading up to Christmas, we had patients from near and far stop in to drop off a donation. Some came when they were in for their regular dental appointment, some of our patients heard about our drive and just dropped a donation off when they were passing by!
We first received a four-pack of Barrie Colts tickets to offer as an incentive to our patients for bringing in their donations. Then the very popular Barrie Christmas Glow got involved and offered us a family pass to their festival that we raffled off at the end of December as a grand prize. Everyone who participated received a ballot per food item that was brought it. The Van Dyk family won our grand prize and had a fabulous time at Christmas Glow!
We are so pleased with how well our Christmas Food Drive turned out, and we can’t wait to find more opportunities over the coming year to help out in our community!
