First Dental Visit! What to Expect.

What an exciting time! Your child is ready to go to the dentist! The Canadian Dental Association recommends children are seen by a dental professional within six months of the eruption of their first tooth, or by the age of 1 year. Now you may be thinking “there is no way my child will sit still for a dental appointment”!

Great Success At Oral Hygiene Workshop for Alcona Glen Elementary School Students

We were recently given a wonderful opportunity to help instruct four Grade 1 classes at Alcona Glen Elementary School in oral hygiene. It was a fun-filled morning with an entertaining video, colouring activity and hands-on instruction. We learned about what causes cavities (bacteria in plaque) and what we can do to prevent cavities!
